Focus T25 Ab IntervalsAnother day of the wonderful Focus T25 workout program! We are onto Day 4 where we tackle the Focus T25 Ab Intervals. Cristen decided to do the workout in the morning while I was at work (booo!). I was looking forward to working out with her today. As you’ll see in the video, I call her out on it!

Either way, Focus T25 Ab Intervals is SERIOUS business. For those P90X’ers, even P90X Ab Ripper X is only 15 minutes long. T25 is, well, of course, 25 minutes long, with no breaks. I honestly felt as though I was working out a large portion of my abs and entire core in this workout than I have in any other workout before (Including P90X, X2, INSANITY). For 25 minutes, this one packs a punch!

 

Focus T25 Ab Intervals Day 4 – Some of the Moves

A few of the different moves that you will encounter include things like:

  • Downward Dog & Plank – in this move you are creating a variation between Downward Dog (yoga move) and Plank (the top, or start, of a push-up). Looks just like the below image:

  • Downward Dog & Spider – same deal with the downward dog, only this time there is no plank. You push yourself by going into a spider move (your left or right leg goes up next to your adjoining hand – picture yourself as a spider).

Throughout the moves, you progress into different variations that get harder. For example, Downward Dog & Plank becomes Downward Dog with Spider, then DownDog with Oblique Knee, etc. The same deal goes for other different moves. You start off easy (foundation), and build up to a harder variation of the move. It’s pretty darn cool if you ask me!

  • V-Sit with Arms Down – This move really works your abs and core all the day down to the deepest parts of the muscles. This move in particular really focuses on balancing your core while working both your top and lower abs. Check out the picture below for the deets.
