Focus T25 Alpha CardioThe DEAL is on! Both Cristen and I have finished Day 1 of the new Focus T25 Workout. This workout was called Focus T25 Alpha Cardio which you’ll find out below in the video was nothing to laugh about. I was honestly quite skeptical of the whole idea of 25 minutes. As someone who has done P90X before, usually the workouts are about 60 minutes per day. But after completing this workout on Day 1, I can honestly say “OK” – yes, this is a REAL workout. Wait until you see my sweat in the second video below.

Lately I’ve been working more, and both Cristen (my wife) and I have been just busy with everything and anything going on. There were a lot of times that I’d be near the end of my day (9-10pm) and still have a workout left to do. What made it bad was that I was facing 60+ minutes of working out with P90X, INSANITY, or another program. The same was especially true for Cristen, who watches over the love of our life (Daughter Mackenzie). There were honestly a LOT of times that I just skipped my workout. It was too late. I was too tired. It was just impossible. Now – just 25 minutes, there are NO excuses.

So let’s get on to the Focus T25 Alpha Cardio Day 1 review. First off, here is our unboxing video:

One point I really dropped the ball on is talking about the nutrition guide (which comes with the DVDs). A lot of people who do these workout programs neglect the nutritional guides. If you want to make sure you get the best possible results, do not skip the nutrition guides. “Just eating healthy” doesn’t cut it (I’ve tried it and failed). Follow the program to a “T” (no pun intended) and you’ll get your desired results.

So now onto the first day. There are three phases of Focus T25. Alpha, Beta, and Gamma (Gamma is an upgrade option). Today we start our Alpha Phase, which lasts for about 30 days. The very first workout you encounter is the Cardio workout.

I couldn’t believe it! Just 25 minutes. No “secret hidden” minutes in this at all. You go right to work, powerhouse for 25 minutes, and you’re done. Also, throughout the entire workout, Tanya (located to the right of Shaun T) modifies almost every move. If there is ever a time you can’t follow along with a move, know that you can jump on in to following her for the moves. Both Cristen and I followed her for a few of the moves!
