Focus T25 Day 5 – Lower Focus AND Cardio!

Focus T25 Day 5Today marks the FIFTH day of Focus T25 for my wife Cristen and I!!! This means that tomorrow is what they call “STATurday”, where we record all of our results for Week #1. To cut to the chase, Lower Focus is ROUGH on the legs. I learned a lot about myself and where I failed at during my fitness journey these past 3 years that made tonight difficult for me. I’ll share that and more today in the Focus T25 Day 5 review.

So the trick of the trade lies within the Focus T25 Schedule. On Day 5, you actually are scheduled to do both Lower Focus and the Cardio workout today. Now, for those diehards that only want to do 25 minutes per day ONLY, you do have the choice to push the Cardio (double day) to the 6th day. But, keep in mind you will not get a true “rest” day as you do on Day 6, otherwise known as “STATurday!”.

So, let’s get onto the review. Today we’ll start off with the video review of Focus T25 Day 5 – Lower Focus

Focus T25 Day 5 General Notes

So during the Lower Focus workout I really started understanding how SORE I was from the program. I knew I was doing good with the first week of Focus T25, but didn’t realize how sore I truly was, until I started this DOUBLE DUTY day!

Beyond being sore, I had issues with my balance as well. I was one who often skipped P90X Legs & Back because I didn’t like it (this was of course before I became a true fitness nerd as I am today! lol). By not working my legs as well as I should have (this includes Quads, Hip Flexors, Abductors), I struggle with balance a lot (you can see a good shot of some poor balance by checking out the video above).

Until next time, FOCUS and Succeed!
