INSANITY Fit Test Review – Day 1

Insanity Fit Test ReviewToday marks the day that I’m going absolutely INSANE. Yup, you read that right, folks….INSANE. I will be taking on the “hardest workout program put on DVD”, also known as INSANITY. Get ready for Day 1: INSANITY Fit Test Review

I just finished P90X2 last week, and this week was what I call “FAT WEEK” :-). It’s my time to break the diet a little and enjoy the fatty foods that I don’t often eat during a program. But you know what? It kinda SUCKED! After P90X, P90X+, and now P90X2, this week wasn’t that fun. I topped off the week with a special trip to Arby’s for a Roast Beef Sandwich, Curly Fries, and a Jamocha Shake. I felt like absolute crap afterwards. In fact, this entire week, while I enjoyed the foods, I started feeling sluggish, fat, and tired! So I tell you all: Once you get past the point of workout pain, and make exercise/fitness a lifestyle, you will feel AMAZING. Each day I wake up and feel like a million bucks. Sure, the exercise in the beginning is painful, but it’s better than feeling sluggish, fat, and tired!

INSANITY Fit Test Review – My Day 1 Total Review

It’s only the fit test, right? LOL…

This is only around 25 minutes of doing a few moves that you will revisit throughout the INSANITY journey. The Fit Test is retaken on Day 15, 36, 50, and Day 63. I must say that by the end of this fit test, I felt like I just had an intense workout. I also felt like it was my first day ever working out!!

Insanity Fit Test ReviewWhile I feel that I do good with weightlifting, which is a primary source of P90X & P90X2, INSANITY introduces Max Interval Circuits (Cardio). I’ve always dropped the ball when it comes to cardio, ever since I was a kid in high school. You know those crazy mile-long runs that you would do in Gym Class? Let’s just say I’d be proud to hit a 10-minute mile run! But optimistically speaking, this is a great challenge that I can’t wait to conquer. If YOU are looking for something that can improve your overall performance with cardiovascular exercises, join me by doing INSANITY!

Now that I have the little disclaimer out there about my cardiovascular struggles, I will post my Day 1 Fit Test Results! As I was going through this, both the girl and guy were making me a little apprehensive about what is to come. I was pumping out an embarrassing 15 power jumps for example, and they started Day 1 with 30-40 reps of power jumps!! I have some work to do!!

INSANITY Fit Test Review – Day 1 Stats
