Help! I stopped working out with P90X or INSANITY

P90X MotivationOH NO! Let me guess, you stopped working out. Your goals of losing weight and looking like an international superstar are a thing of the past. You are so mad. You had a great thing going on with P90X or INSANITY, and now you realize its two weeks later and you haven’t worked out a single day. AHHH!!! Time for some P90X Motivation and/or INSANITY Motivation?

So what do you do? Is it time to start all over again? Is it one of those things that you feel you can start up again and can repeat the same problem, never getting through the first month of the program? Well, rest assured, I hope to help some of those problems in this post based on my own experience along with the experience from many of the other team members here at SharpeFit.com!

P90X Motivation – What to do when you stop working out with P90X or INSANITY

There are a few things that you need to consider when you need to pick up the boot straps and keep moving on. First and foremost, NEVER EVER beat yourself up for stopping the program or stalling out. There are many things that could get in your way. Don’t look for excuses, just accept the fact that you may have these issues pop-up, and the most important part is how you come back, not how you failed!!

In fact, before I get into my suggestions for coming back with full intensity, check out this video below. The first four weeks of ANY program are tough as this video describes. So, if you ever find yourself repeating the first phase of P90X or INSANITY consistently, consider the points in this video:

P90X Motivation – The steps to get back on track

Here are some tips and tricks that I have used, and that I have shared with others who have found the same success:

  • Set your restart day and get excited about it! Whether its a favorite day of the month, the start of the week, or the start of the month; set that restart day and get prepared to WIN!

  • Eat Right! A lot of times we wear out because we aren’t getting the right nutrition or calories (in fact, sometimes we mistake less calories for losing weight, when in fact it is starving us which makes you tired and unable to do P90X or INSANITY the right way!). Go to myfitnesspal.com and check out their awesome tools. You should also consider getting the E&E Pre-Workout Drink and the P90X Results and Recovery Formula for best results in supplementation.
  • Watch the Infomercials and Success Stories…a lot. One great option is to keep watching all the different infomercials and success stories for your program. You can find this on the Team Beachbody site, or just by browsing YouTube. Check them out and picture yourself as one of these success stories very soon!!

Keep up the good work, no matter what gets in your way. If you stall out for a week, no problem, pick up where you left off. If you stall out for a longer period of time, you can start over if you want to, just commit to staying in the game for the long haul. Remember that quitting never gets you anywhere, but when you get back up and keep moving strong, you’ll succeed beyond your wildest dreams!
