P90X2 Yoga What is it all About?

P90X2 Yoga ReviewIf anyone has ever completed the original P90X Yoga, you’ll most likely definitely grow an appreciation for X2 Yoga!! Find out why I say this below, especially if the P90X workout of Yoga X drove you insane!!

When I first started P90X Yoga, I went in with an open mind, but the length of the exercise that day (what was it, an hour and a half or something???) absolutely killed me. Especially when balancing the workload of my full-time career, it wasn’t always easy getting that in. Did any of you feel the same way? What did you do to get around it for those of you who stayed dedicated to it?

While I came up with every excuse in the book, Tony consistently talks about Yoga being the “Fountain of Youth”. After all, would we all like a shot at making Gumby look like the Tin-Man? 🙂 So I forged ahead as much as I could and tried Yoga X throughout my P90X journey, but never really got the full benefits out of it as I should have…and then came X2 YOGA!!!!

The P90X2 Yoga Overview

So what will make you grow that appreciation for X2 Yoga? It’s only 67 minutes and 3 seconds versus the 1 ½ hours of Yoga X!!!!!

Even better yet, even though this is my direct opinion, is that the Vinyasa sequence is not as repetitive as P90X Yoga. Therefore, you get a chance to do a few Sun Salutations with different variations of Downward Dog, Warrior 1, 2, 3, Reverse Warrior, and Triangle Poses. I feel as though the movements make the workout enjoyable and it moves along quickly (although I sweat as though I’m running a marathon!!!)

Necessary tools for X2 Yoga

For X2 Yoga, you don’t need many tools, just a yoga mat (or soft surface), Yoga block (optional but will help you with some of the moves!), towel, and water!

  • Mountain Pose
