INSANITY The Asylum Day 0: Athletic Performance Assessment

Today is December 2nd. That’s right, the starting point of the Holiday season. We are talking Cookies, Cakes, Pies, and tons of gifts. Who would ever think of FITNESS during this time? This crazy guy right here! Hi, My name is Bob Sharpe, and if this is the first time you’ve visited my site, WELCOME to SharpeFit.com My goal over the next 30 days is to successfully complete INSANITY The Asylum (volume 1). While it is only a 30-day program, it is the hardest workout ever put on DVD, according to Beachbody (the company that made INSANITY).

But that’s not the only reason I’m going to regularly post updates to the INSANE ASYLUM Reality Show i’m putting on, but its for one more reason. The reason? Well, because All I want for Christmas is some SIX PACK ABS!

I will be doing regular updates, and I need YOUR support, so please subscribe to my Blog, My YouTube video, and Comment, Like, and Share as much as possible. Trust me, with all of the Christmas Cookies, I need some help!

INSANITY The Asylum

Me and SANTA want to get RIPPED this Christmas. Can we do it?

INSANITY the Asylum Day 0 – My Considerations

Ok let’s face it, DIET is a huge part of INSANITY. I’ll be using the following supplements:

  • E&E (Energy and Endurance) Pre-Workout Formula
  • P90X Results and Recovery Formula (Post-Workout)
  • Shakeology (nice evening snack!)
  • Multi-Vitamin from Target (Up and Up Brand)

I plan on still enjoying the Holidays, but not as much as I normally do (from a FOOD perspective). Now, the awesome Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks is amazing, and we are planning a Cookie Day at my house. I will still sparingly enjoy these things! The big question will be – Can I get a Six Pack with INSANITY: The Asylum, and still enjoy the holiday treats? We’ll see.

I will blog regularly about my food choices and experience, so you’ll be the first to know what I’m up to from an eating perspective. As for now, let’s check out the FIRST day video!

INSANITY the Asylum Day 0 – INSANE ASYLUM Reality Show!

Check out my YouTube video for my review and moves from the Athletic Performance Assessment. This is the “Fit-Test” for the Asylum. It measures your progress and athleticism. This was a HUGE wake-up call to me! I could barely keep up with it. I have a lot of work to do!! Check it out:

INSANITY The Asylum – Day 0, Athletic Performance Review Results

This isn’t necessarily Day 1 as I mention in the video. Day 1 starts tomorrow with Speed & Agility workout. The Fit Test today is really only 30 minutes long and is meant as exactly that, a test.

I felt as though I was OUT OF SHAPE! Ahhhh! I have done P90X and INSANITY before, but today’s test really left me wondering how “in-shape” I thought I was. This only tells me two things: 1. I’m in for a REAL challenge and 2. I have a GOOD chance of getting great results with this program.

Here are my results from the first day. Low numbers, right? I hope to improve them once I share my final day post with my results. LET’S DO THIS!!

  •  Agility Heisman – 5
  • In & Out Ab Progression – 12
  • Push-Ups – 10
  • Mountain Climber Switch Kicks – 15
  • Agility Shoulder Taps – 4
  • X Jumps – 20
  • Moving Push-Ups – 2
  • Agility Lateral Shuffle – 10
  • Agility Bear Crawl – 2

Regardless of my results now, here is to an AWESOME journey with INSANITY the Asylum (Volume 1). I’ll see you all next time!
