Can you believe it? Yes, it’s true! P90X3 is coming to your home gym. The P90X3 Release Date was December 10th. If you have done P90X or P90X2, I’m sure you’ll be just as excited as I am to get started on a THIRD P90X version!

How is P90X3 different from P90X or P90X2?
- P90X brought the first wave of “extreme fitness” to the home. The year was 2003, and P90X was offered to it’s predecessor called “Power 90”. The goal was to bring an extreme, elite program to people’s home without using expensive equipment or high monthly gym memberships. The results were phenomenal. People even started using P90X to lose significant weight (see Richard Neal’s 200 pound weight loss journey).
- P90X used a concept called “Muscle Confusion”. This means that Tony mixed up the workouts every few weeks to keep the muscles challenged so that they get faster results in a short (90-day) period of time. I honestly call P90X the “FOUNDATION” of the P90X saga.
- P90X2 took the success of P90X to a whole new level. This time you trained at an athletic level, learning from your work with P90X. There was a big focus on Balance and using your core to an all new extreme. I noticed myself that my core got blown out of the water with P90X2! Also, you use the Post Activation Potentiation theory of atletic training in the program. This gives your nervous system a whole new workout potential. By doing fast twitch moves followed-up by strength moves, you get the ability to use a greater range of motion and getting deeper and better results from a muscle and fitness perspective.
