P90X Dumbbells Tips and Tricks
Sure, you might be doing the popular P90X Workout Program, but are you set up for success? Today I wanted to give you a tip on How to do P90X and get the best results, through P90X Dumbbells and how to get the best possible muscle pump from them.
Whether you want to build muscle, or sculpt and tone, this tip will HELP you succeed with this goal. Do not just throw the P90X Dumbbells around aimlessly without knowing what you are doing. If you want to get the best bicep, shoulder, or tricep in your arms, you need to embrace eccentric contractions. How the heck do you do that? Well, I’ll explain it all below!

P90X Dumbbells Tips and Tricks – Video Walk-Thru
In this video, I’ll share with you how to do the eccentric contraction along with a few other important tips. See below the video afterwards for a recap.
As mentioned in the video, use the counting method to lengthen your muscle (this, is eccentric contraction!). Most people lift up a dumbbell, feel the burn, and drop it right down ready for the next rep. Don’t be one of these people! This is how you won’t get that sexy and toned muscle you’re after.
For Lean Muscle Sculpting:
- Pick a Weight that allows you to do at least 12 reps, maximum of 16 reps.
- Lift up and count down to 4-5 seconds
For Muscle Building:
- Pick a Weight that only allows you to do 8 reps, maximum of 10 reps. You should be crying by 6-7 reps (lol).
- Lift up and count down 3-4 seconds
