P90X Fit Test

p90x fit testThe P90X Fit Test is something everyone should do before they even attempt P90X. In fact, you can even do the P90X Fit Test before you buy P90X. In fact, I personally recommend that you do the fit test so that you don’t waste your money if you are not (yet) ready for P90X.

On this page you will learn the step-by-step method to the P90X Fit Test so that you stop asking yourself “Can I Do P90X?” and finally having an answer. The very FIRST step you will want to do is get an advantage over other P90X users. Sign-Up for a Free Team Beachbody Account. In this account you can track your P90X workouts, track your fit test progress (if you aren’t yet ready), and get access to ask me (Coach Bob Sharpe) any question regarding P90X – I’m here to help you succeed for free!

Step 1 – Download the P90X Fit Test

You can download the P90X Fit Test by Clicking Here. Make sure you take the time to really focus on Step 2 so that you can maximize the information included on the PDF fit test.

Step 2 – Follow these Tips to Success

Whether your are a complete beginner/amateur or you have trained and worked out before, follow these tips to success while doing the P90X Fit Test.

  • Take those Photos – whether you end up doing P90X or not, or you think you look too fat, take the photos! Trust me on this one. I failed to take the right photos during my first round of P90X in 2010. To this day I regret it. Take these photos as they will end up being a treasure to you when you stack them up against your after results!
  • Do NOT Worry About What You Can’t Do – If pull-ups or push-ups aren’t your thing, that’s ok. Do what you can, and record and document everything. Write down how you feel, write down how many you did, write down any modification you did (on your knees, whether you used a chair for pull-ups, etc).  Another thing I’m sharing as a “don’t repeat my bad history” lesson. Record and document it all so that you can be successful. You will look back on these notes and realize how far you have come – and THAT is more powerful than anything.
  • Don’t Compare Yourself to Others – Whether it is the people on the P90X DVDs, your friends/family, or the people in the P90X transformation videos, YOU are YOU, and yes, YOU can get results.
  • Get your Free Account – As I discussed earlier in the post, Click here to get your FREE Team Beachbody Account. You can ask me questions about the Fit Test and anything related to your P90X journey.

Step 3 – Look at your Fit Test and Determine the Next Step

If you are looking at your P90X fit test and are disappointed, it’s OK! If you are mad you didn’t do that many push-ups, that your vertical leap was bad, or that your pull-ups are a big fat “0”, no need to be concerned. Isn’t this the reason you are looking into P90X anyway? You can improve all of this, lose weight, AND get fit and healthy.

After 90 days, you can look back on your fit test and see your progress in bold numbers and letters!

If you are someone who was uncomfortable, or has a lot of weight lose, there is an Alternative to P90X. In fact, it’s P90X’s predecessor, called Power 90. This program is an approach to help you lose weight and take an easier approach to fitness. Once you complete 90 days of the Power 90 program, you are usually good to graduate on to P90X!
