What Do You Need for P90X

what do you need for p90xYou should not have to be overwhelmed with the equipment you need for P90X. If you find yourself asking what do you need for P90X, I’ll explain it all for you today.

If this is your first time visiting my site and you are not a team member with me, first off, Welcome.

Second off, I am a Team Beachbody Coach and I do help people get fit and amazing results with P90X. But bare in mind I do not want to try and “sell” you anything.

My goal today is really to point out the key needs for P90X. So, do NOT fall for the sales gimmicks – get what you ACTUALLY need without spending a lot of time and money.

You shouldn’t have to spend a lot of money on the tools to help you get successful. I have found great results once I tapped into the resources I’ll share with you below.

There are two pieces to the P90X puzzle that I originally ignored. In 2010 I started with just P90X, and barely had dumbbells in my house. I lost weight which was awesome, but was quite frankly disappointed I didn’t get the awesome ripped results.

It wasn’t until I tapped into the right formula that I started getting great P90X results!

The formula?

Let’s explore what you need (and what you can wait on) right now.

What Do You Need for P90X in Regards to Equipment?

Equipment is a very important piece of the puzzle. As I mention above, I started P90X originally and had NOTHING.

I only had cheap 5 pound dumbbells that my Mom had and gave to me a few years back.

Obviously, in wanting to lose weight and look like Superman, I couldn’t do it with 5 pounds! Plus, I had no pull-up bar and no Yoga/Plyo Mat (on a hard ceramic floor).

So it was time to get with the program (no pun intended lol). Now that I got the equipment I needed and got the results, I made a video on what you actually need (don’t get everything because it can be a waste of your time and money at first).

See this video, and then keep reading below so you can make sure you get the second step of the formula to success.

What Do You Need for P90X Supplements and Nutrition?

This is where it gets tricky. There are a lot of people that try to skimp on the nutrition. Please learn from my failure: Nutrition is 80% of the success. Do not pick up some cheap Whey Protein shake that contains artificial sweeteners. Get something that will help support your muscles, your calorie needs, and maximize your P90X efforts.

Most Coaches immediately resort to Shakeology as their go-to source. I do agree with this and support it, but be cautioned.

A lot of Coaches try to recommend Shakeology so that they can make money, and not for the value it provides. If you want my honest opinion on what I would grab first (if you are on a limited budget), is the P90X Results & Recovery Formula.

For only $49.95 you can get this after-workout drink to help support your P90X workouts. It has great mixes of amino acids and a solid protein-to-carb ratio that helps prevent soreness and speed recovery (this helps you BRING IT with P90X consistently while improving your strength and weight loss ability).

If you would ask me to compare the Results & Recovery Formula to Shakeology, it’s like comparing Apples to Green Beans.

The R&R formula is meant for building a strong recovery after a workout (so you don’t become weak or unable to do tomorrow’s workout). Shakeology is a Meal Replacement Shake that gives you over 70 ingredients of superfood health to help improve your overall nutrition.

Do I recommend that you have both? Yes; but, if you are on a budget, here is what I recommend for my “What do you need for P90X” supplements:

  • P90X Results & Recovery Formula – Must Have (get this over anything if you have a smaller budget) – For supreme workout recovery and strength building/weight loss enhancement.
  • Shakeology – Smart Investment – overall nutrition that will help fuel your workouts and well-being.
  • Energy & Endurance Formula – Good Pre-Workout Formula – will help give you the appropriate supplements to energize your workouts naturally. Third on my list because the top two are much more important if you are watching your budget.
