INSANITY Pure Cardio Review – Week 2...

THERE ARE NO BREAKS with INSANITY Pure Cardio!!! It’s week 2 of my INSANITY journey, and today was Pure Cardio. If you look back at my other INSANITY reviews this past week, I talk a lot about the 30 second breaks you get in between the circuits. This is mainly because the breaks are based on Interval Training. This means periods of long intense exercise, followed by short breaks in between. But PURE CARDIO doesn’t care about breaks. It’s full board from start to finish!! INSANITY Pure Cardio – Warm-Up Review The Warm-Up is the typical circuit that you find in most of the INSANITY workouts. Here is what we do with INSANITY Pure Cardio: Jog Jumping Jacks...

INSANITY Review – Week 2 Begins!...

INSANITY Review of Cardio Power & Resistance! Today I entered into Week 2 of INSANITY and set two major goals that I will tell you all about in just a moment. I feel much better after today’s workout. If you ever took a moment to see the INSANITY infomercial, you may recall them saying things like “hardest workout ever put on DVD” and “Test you both physically and mentally”. I have to say that both are true. I’m a bit shocked though. Why? Because after doing P90X and P90X2 over the last year and a half, I really feel like I never worked out before when I do the INSANITY workouts. Yes, it’s only the start of week...

INSANITY Cardio Power and Resistance – Day 3...

It is already Day 3 of INSANITY. Don’t worry, I feel INSANE enough, but excited that I’m sticking with this 110%. Today is all about Cardio Power and Resistance. Yesterday’s INSANITY workout (Plyometric Cardio Circuit) left me waking up today feeling sore in my abs and legs! Don’t worry though, it wasn’t the type of soreness that makes you want to lay down and die. This was a mild soreness that reminded me how well I did with the workout yesterday! So today is Day 3, and I’m entering into this workout ready to see what Shaun T can bring! I drank my Pre-Workout Drink (Energy & Endurance), which I recommend to everyone. Once I got fired up,...

INSANITY Fit Test Review – Day 1...

Today marks the day that I’m going absolutely INSANE. Yup, you read that right, folks….INSANE. I will be taking on the “hardest workout program put on DVD”, also known as INSANITY. Get ready for Day 1: INSANITY Fit Test Review I just finished P90X2 last week, and this week was what I call “FAT WEEK” :-). It’s my time to break the diet a little and enjoy the fatty foods that I don’t often eat during a program. But you know what? It kinda SUCKED! After P90X, P90X+, and now P90X2, this week wasn’t that fun. I topped off the week with a special trip to Arby’s for a Roast Beef Sandwich, Curly Fries, and a Jamocha Shake....

P90X2 Results

I’m happy to present my P90X2 Results to you all. It’s hard to believe when I look back at the photo to the left that I used to be THAT out of shape. Yes folks, that was me prior to starting P90X or P90X2. Things were not too good as I was struggling with Acid Reflux disease along with looking like the Guy that I did NOT want to look like! I had a choice to make back in 2010, and that was to finally find a program that would help me lose weight. Trust me, I tried all of the diets, fitness programs, and going to the gym fads out there. I kept hearing about this P90X thing,...
