P90X2 Base and Back Review

P90X2 Base and Back Review – SharpeFit.com What an awesome workout! For those of you P90X superstars that do Legs & Back, this is the X2 version of that workout. The big difference is, it combines Plyometrics with Pull-Ups – what does that mean? An intense and satisfying workout! I’m excited to bring you my P90X2 Base and Back Review along with a YouTube video update that is also posted below! The Moves – P90X2 Base and Back Review The very first move is called the No Kip Pull-UP. What the heck is that? Its basically doing a wide-front pull-up without any movement in your body (think about pulling yourself up like a board). This is hard for me for...

P90X2 X2 Shoulders & Arms – KILLER Workout...

P90X2 X2 Shoulders and Arms – Time is flying by!! I’m already in Week 3 of my Phase 2 of P90X2, and cannot believe that I’m soon graduating onto the Performance Phase!! I’ve also decided that I will take on a total of 5 weeks of the Strength Phase just as I did with Phase 1 of P90X2. Now, onto my review: The first week of X2 Shoulders and Arms was something that I couldn’t WAIT to start. I loved P90X Shoulders & Arms routine, and knew that X2 would present a whole new challenge….BOY was I right! So this workout combines some of the great moves of lifting weights as P90X has, but with the added balance……and of...

P90X2 Review: Chest + Back + Balance

P90X2 Review: My Experience with Chest + Back + Balance in Phase 2! WOW this one works you! Phase 2 of P90X2 is very similar to P90X in many ways. First of all, I noticed that the workout flow is similar by having a strength workout, followed by cardio (Plyo), followed-by Yoga, followed-by another set of strength. Of course, we also get to enjoy X2 Ab Ripper on three days instead of just one! The first week I did this workout, I could barely do the moves!! How could Chest and Back in P90X seem so easy now, but yet Chest + Back + Balance presents a whole new set of challenges? Like Tony says, “That’s the beauty...

P90X2 Review: Total Body X2 Day 4

Hello Everyone! I recently enjoyed P90X2 Total Body X2 during Day 4 of my P90X2 journey…and I think this is (so far) one of my favorite (if not my favorite) combination workouts!! A nice flashback reminder of P90X (and a little of P90X+) and a sharp new edge on what makes X2 great! So let’s start with TOTAL BODY X2! What an AWESOME workout! I was able to revisit the free weights again that I loved during P90X (and don’t worry, you can definitely use resistance bands on this workout with no problem!). First…the most impressive thing about P90X2 is seeing other Coaches that take part in the P90X2 videos with Tony. Most notably in Total Body X2 is...

P90X Review: Kenpo X

Yesterday I took on Kenpo X, and I really love this workout. I did other kickboxing and martial arts exercise programs in the past, but they really didn’t work. I think the reason why they didn’t work for me, is because its the same program day in and day out (call it “Exercise ADHD” if you will). Same jokes, same timing, same old thing (talk about the Plateau effect!). What’s nice about P90X is that I can enjoy Kenpo once per week, and say hello to other variations and workouts on the other days! This leads me to today, my P90X Kenpo X Review Kenpo is a form of Karate within Japanese Martial Arts. The Americanized version, which...
